“Annika Maria” to Debut in Berlin – Peter Maria Schnurr Joins GOLVET as New Star Chef

Berlin, December 6, 2024. Renowned 2-Michelin-starred chef from Leipzig, Peter Maria Schnurr, who has roots in Baden, is returning to Berlin. Starting January 29, 2025, Schnurr will take over the helm at the kitchen of the Michelin-starred GOLVET restaurant in Berlin-Mitte. Among the culinary treasures he brings is his signature dish, “Annika Maria,” created as a gift for his daughter upon her birth. The dish will now debut on GOLVET’s menu.

Schnurr is celebrated for his distinctive cooking style, “cuisine passion légère ©,” and his unparalleled achievement of maintaining two Michelin stars at the Falco restaurant in Leipzig for over 18 years. His impressive résumé includes hosting the German national soccer team and extensive experience in Berlin’s culinary scene, having worked with the legendary Siegfried Rockendorf, at First Floor, and at the Berlin Capital Club. He’s also widely recognized from TV programs like Kitchen Impossible, TOP Chef Germany, and Kühlschrank öffne Dich.

A Fresh Start at GOLVET

As GOLVET enters the new year, Peter Maria Schnurr will take charge of the kitchen, which successfully retained its Michelin star in the 2024 guide. He will collaborate with GOLVET’s 18-member team to further refine his cooking style and is excited to work with the young, creative, and international talent at the restaurant.
